What is the difference between Visa Checkout and Visa Click to Pay?

Visa Click to Pay replaced Visa Checkout in January 2020 to provide consumers and merchants with one simple, secure digital payment process. Existing Visa Checkout users will only need to authenticate their Visa cards the first time they use Visa Click to Pay. You can expect to see the Visa Click to Pay option on more and more checkout sites as more merchants add this payment option.

We highly recommend that you set up your Stanford FCU credit and debit cards in Visa Click to Pay if you are planning to use them for online purchases.

You can learn more about Visa Click to Pay or call us with questions at 888.723.7328.
