IRA Features

Traditional IRA

  • NO monthly service fees
  • NO minimum balance required
  • Contributions may be made in “lump sums” or by setting up regular payroll direct deposit.
  • IRAs are insured by the NCUA up to $250,000

Roth IRA

  • Funded with post-tax income, so you don’t have to pay income taxes on the funds in the future
  • Earnings grow TAX FREE
  • NO early withdrawal fee
  • Never required to withdraw funds at a certain age, unlike Traditional IRAs and 401K plans

Coverdell IRA

  • TAX FREE withdrawals for your student’s higher education expenses
  • Contributions are nondeductible — therefore, unlike the Traditional IRA, distributions from an Educational IRA are penalty free and tax-free

IRA Certificate

  • NO monthly service fees
  • Competitive rates
  • IRA Certificates with minimum balances as low as $1,000
  • Tiered-Rate Certificates are available for terms from 12 months to 5 years
