Secure your financial future

It’s never too early to start planning your retirement, and we make it easy with multiple options: A Traditional or Roth IRA as a savings account or a Certificate. We also have an experienced Wealth Management team to help you put together a full retirement plan.

Deposits are federally insured to at least $250,000 (Individual Retirement Accounts up to an additional $250,000) through the National Credit Union Administration.

Traditional and Roth IRAs

 

No minimum deposit to open the account
$50 minimum balance to earn dividends (rate is variable)
No monthly service fee
Similar to a basic savings account, except there are restrictions on deposits and withdrawals
Contributions may be made by individual deposits or rolled over from another IRA

Traditional IRA

  • Contributions may be tax deductible*
  • Deposits grow tax-deferred until withdrawn
  • Withdrawals are taxed as income
  • Required Minimum Distribution starts at age 70 ½

Roth IRA

  • Funded with post-tax income, so you don’t have to pay income taxes* on the funds in the future
  • Deposits grow tax-free
  • Tax-free qualified withdrawals
  • No early withdrawal fee
  • Most withdrawals before age 59 ½ result in IRS penalties
  • Not required to withdraw the funds at a certain age vs. Traditional IRA or 401(k)
