How do I transfer money into a different account?

You can transfer funds between your Stanford FCU accounts, to another Stanford FCU member (if you know the account number), or to and from your accounts at another financial institution (this will take a few days for the first-time transfer). If you want to send money to someone who is not a Stanford FCU member, use Pay A Friend or send a Wire Transfer (both within Online and Mobile Banking).

 

Transfer funds between your Stanford FCU accounts:

  • Log into Online or Mobile Banking
  • Click the three dots next to the account name
  • Select “Quick Transfer”
  • Fill in the requested information

 

Transfer funds to another member:

  • Log into Online or Mobile Banking
  • Go to “Payments & Transfers”
  • Choose “Transfer to Member” (you will need the member’s account number and type of account)
  • Fill in the requested information

 

Transfer funds to and from your accounts at another financial institution:

  • Log into Online or Mobile Banking
  • Go to “Payments & Transfers”
  • Choose “Add External Account” (you will need your institution’s routing number, your account number, and the account type)
  • Fill in the requested information
