Symantec VIP Security – Protect your accounts!

Stanford FCU has partnered with Symantec to provide you with greater security for your Online and Mobile Banking log in, as well as external transfer and wire requests. Symantec’s free Validation and ID Protection (VIP) Access is a randomly-generated code (token) that helps prevent unauthorized account access and transactions.

How VIP Access works

VIP Access works with your Login ID and Password to provide two-factor authentication to help prevent unauthorized access to your Stanford FCU accounts. Once you download and activate the app, you will need to access it every time you log into Online or Mobile Banking, or request an external transfer or wire.

Download the app to one device (whichever one you use most frequently):

Step 2

Activate the app after installation by calling us at 888.723.7328 (Mon– Fri 8am – 6pm, Sat 9am – 4pm).

Log into Online or Mobile Banking—you will be prompted to enter the token at login, and whenever you request an external transfer or wire.

Open the new VIP Access app to get the token.

You can cancel VIP Access any time—just call to let us know. And if you
replace your device, please call us to update your VIP Access.

If you use an aggregator to view multiple financial accounts, VIP Access may prevent the aggregator from updating your account information.
