Money is a universal language, and we help you communicate through currencies.

  • For international wires, funds must be sent in the recipient country's currency
  • If the receiving bank only accepts U.S. funds, you'll need to work with a U.S. correspondent bank to ensure proper routing
  • For outgoing wire transfer fees, check our Fee Schedule

Money transfers made easier—across town or internationally

When you need to move money, speed is essential. So are security and the certainty of accurate transfers. Set up wire transfers within Digital Banking to make sure money arrives when and where it's supposed to, whether you're on the sending or receiving end. Just follow the instructions and use the tips below.

Sending wires

Step 1

All wires are sent through Digital Banking, and you'll need to fill out a Funds Transfer Agreement & Form before we can process your first request.

Follow these wire instructions to know exactly what information you need. And if you want more guidance, check out our how-to videos for domestic wires and international wires.

Step 3

Prompts are easy to follow to process your request and preview the exchange rate.

Step 4

We will send a secure access code to your phone number on file to complete your wire transfer. We may also call to verify your identity to make sure large wire amounts are legitimate.

Information needed to send a wire

Make sure you have accurate details because once the wire transfer is processed, it cannot be reversed.

  • Exact name on the recipient's account
  • Routing number of the receiving financial institution or its IBAN
  • Recipient's address
  • Recipient's account number
  • Name, address and phone number of the receiving financial institution
Receiving wires

Incoming wires don't cost you anything, though there might be a charge assessed by a U.S. correspondent bank that's involved for proper routing. To receive a wire transfer, provide the sender/payor the following information:

  1. Name & address on the account (must be an exact match)
  2. The 10-digit account number beginning with 900 or 9-digit numbering beginning with 700

The International Bank Account Number (IBAN) is an international standard of identifying bank accounts. These numbers are used when making or receiving international payments.

The IBAN varies by country/institution and does not replace your account number. Only the institution servicing an account can provide the correct IBAN for that account, and it must be obtained from the person who will receive the wire transfer. An IBAN is required for beneficiary accounts in Europe and other countries around the world.
