What type of accounts can I open via Stanford FCU Online Banking?
You can open personal checking, savings, money management or premier market savings accounts. You can also apply for mortgage or other home loan, auto, credit cards, personal lines of credit online. You can also open a HSA or IRA by clicking here The only online limitations to open an account are Share Certificates (CD) or minor account. How long does it take for me to have access?
Once the deposit account is opened in Stanford FCU Online Banking, you will have access immediately. Please logout and log back in for the account to display on your My Accounts screen.

Where do I go to open an account if I am a new member to Stanford FCU?
Please go to sfcu.org then click on “Open Account” to open your new membership.
What documentations are required to open my new membership?
To start your new membership we required you to complete the membership application online then sign it. We also need you to send us your current government issued ID. A DocuSign email will send to your email on file to finish the process.
How do I add a beneficiary when open the new account in Online Banking?
If you already have a beneficiary on file then you will see the beneficiary name appear under “Add As Beneficiary on the Account.” Please check the box next to the beneficiary name you wish to add.
Can I add a joint owner?
You will only be able to add a joint owner who is already a joint owner on your other account during the additional new account opening process. You will not be able to add a joint owner to an already established account in online banking. Do I need to complete another signature card?
Stanford FCU will not require another signature card from the member if there is a current one on file with the same owner(s).

How do I make the initial deposit to my new account?
During the new account opening process you will be ask to transfer the minimum opening deposit amount from one of your existing Stanford FCU account.
