I currently use Stanford FCU Mobile Banking. Will I need to download something new?
Yes. Please uninstall or delete your existing Stanford FCU mobile app. Then follow the steps.

  • Step 1: Get the new Stanford FCU Mobile Banking App from Apple App Store or Google Play.
  • Step 2: Sign in with your new existing Online Banking ID and Passcode and follow the steps. You will be prompted to get a Secure Access Code. Then, change your Password.

The experience will mirror the online banking platform and will be easy to use on your mobile device.

I haven’t used Stanford Mobile Banking. But I want to start. How do I get logged in?
That’s easy. Just follow the steps.

  • Step 1: Get the new Stanford FCU Mobile Banking App from Apple App Store or Google Play.
  • Step 2: Sign in with your new existing Online Banking ID and Passcode and follow the steps. You will be prompted to get a Secure Access Code since this is a new device.

The experience will mirror the online banking platform and will be easy to use on your mobile device.

I’m locked out of the mobile banking app. How do I reset my account and password?
To reset your mobile banking login credentials, please contact us at 888.723.7328.
If I forgot my mobile banking password, can I change it?
Yes. Open the Mobile Banking app and click on ‘Forgot your password?’ You will be prompted to enter your Login ID. Then you will be prompted to choose a verification method by which a Secure Access Code will be sent to you. Once you enter the Secure Access Code, you will be able to change your password.
What are the supported devices?
Stanford FCU’s Mobile Banking App currently supports iPhone and Android phones.
I tried to login and it wouldn’t let me. What am I doing wrong?
Please double check your username or password is entered correctly. If you have forgotten your password, click on the “Forgot Password?” link. If you continue to experience issues please contact us at 888.723.7328.
I tried to download the app but cannot do it. What’s next?
Please make sure you have entered your Apple App Store or Google Play account information correctly to download our free mobile banking app. It also helps to turn off your phone and turn it back on to retry downloading the app. If you continue to experience issues please contact us at 888.723.7328.
Can my login for Stanford FCU Mobile Banking be the same as my Stanford FCU Online Banking?
Your mobile and online banking credentials will always be the same.
What can I do with my new Stanford FCU Mobile Banking App that I couldn’t do before?
Now the mobile banking experience mirrors the online banking experience. With the new mobile banking app you can:

  • Sign in with your saved fingerprint or Touch ID™— no need for a passcode. (Apple only)
  • Transfer money to other members.
  • Make recurring transfers.
  • Initiate domestic wires.
  • View statements.
  • Submit travel notifications.
How to setup fingerprint/Touch ID sign in?
First, sign in to the mobile app. Click the red Menu button at the top left. Then select Profile & Settings. Then select Security Preferences. Turn Touch ID on, enter your credentials to authenticate and use your finger to confirm.
Please note: A finger print must be enabled on your iPhone to use touch ID on the mobile app
How do I use Mobile Deposit to deposit a check?
Sign in the mobile app and from the Menu select Deposit Checks.

  1. Select account to deposit to
  2. Enter amount of check
  3. Capture image of check front and back
  4. Submit Deposit
  5. Follow any additional prompts
How secure is Mobile Deposit Check service?
For added protection, the images of your checks are not stored on your mobile phone. Our Mobile Deposit Check service leads the industry with its patented agile risk management tools and proprietary image technologies to ensure your transaction is secured.
What types of checks are accepted with Mobile Check Deposit?
  • Personal Checks
  • Business Checks
  • Government/Treasury checks
  • Cashier’s checks

Check must be from a United States financial institution and in United States currency.

When will my funds be available?
Mobile deposits are subject to verification and funds may not be available immediately. Once the deposit has been received, you’ll be able to view the pending transaction online or on your mobile device. In most cases, checks will be deposited same day. If it is over $5,000 a two day hold will automatically be placed on the deposit.
What happens if there is an issue with the Mobile Deposit?
Once you’ve made your deposit, you’ll get an email confirmation that we’ve received your deposit and it is being processed. You’ll receive a phone call from Stanford FCU during our normal business hours if we have questions about the check deposit.
What time do I need to deposit my checks in order for it to be available the next day?
It doesn’t matter what time the check is deposited. In most cases, check s will be deposited same day. If it is over $5,000 a two day hold will automatically be placed on the deposit.
Are there any fees?
No. We recommend that you check with your mobile phone service provider to see if any wireless carrier fees are applied.
How many months of check image history can I view?
You can view up to past 18 months of check images in online banking
While depositing a check using the android app, it displayed this message "Screen overlay detected", what do I do?
This is a known Android issue reported by android users on Android 6.0.1. It will be fixed in a new version of our Online Banking. On your Android, you can go to:

  1. Settings>Apps and press the gear icon in the top right corner
  2. Click on draw over other apps
  3. Tap on each app below the tab draw over other apps
  4. Toggle to select Yes to No.
