Here’s a list of Frequently Asked Questions about Stanford Federal Credit Union’s Visa SelectRewards Program.

How many points can I earn for using my credit card?

You will earn 1 point for every $1 spent.

How can I see my points?

Logon to Online Banking and choose the SelectRewards button under Account View. You will see your points listed along with a link to SelectRewards where you can redeem your points for travel and merchandise.

Once I sign on to Online Banking and choose SelectRewards where can I see my points?

You will see all your points on the main page. If you choose the My Info link, you can go to other screens to see what you have purchased with your points, order merchandise, and even set up reward preferences.

I don’t have Online Banking access, how do I sign up?

To sign up for online banking, visit www.sfcu.org and click on the ‘Enroll’ link at the top of the page below the Online Banking login boxes. If you have questions or need assistance, please contact Member Services at 650.723.2509 or 888.723.7328.

Can I redeem my points by phone?

* Merchandise redemptions must be made online or by a mailed/faxed redemption form, which you can access once you’ve signed into Online Banking.
* Travel redemptions can be made by phone or online.

Who do I call if I have a question about merchandise I’ve received?

How far ahead do I have to book a ticket with points?

Airline reservations must be made 21 days in advance of travel, require a Saturday night stay and are subject to availability, blackout dates and certain imposed restrictions.

What are the minimum number of points I need to have to redeem?

You can redeem as little as 2,500 points for merchandise.

Do my reward points expire?

Yes, points will expire two years from the end of the calendar year in which they are earned, and will expire on a first-in, first-out basis annually. (i.e., points earned in calendar year one will expire on the last business day of the calendar year three.)

How many points can I accrue a year?

You can earn up to 150,000 points per year. You will earn points on purchases made with multiple cards that are assigned to the same Primary account. Your Stanford FCU Account must remain open and in good standing, otherwise any available points will be forfeited.
