Please be aware of a phishing email making the rounds. The email appears to be coming from firstname.lastname@example.org. This is a phishing scam attempting to get your Stanford FCU Online Banking login credentials. Please don’t click any links within the email.
If you have entered your credentials for this site, you should reset your password immediately to prevent any potential fraud. It is always safest to login to Online Banking by going directly to sfcu.org or through the Stanford FCU Mobile Banking App. Your privacy and security is very important to us. Please note, if a user logs into a SFCU account from a different (new) device, the user is sent a Secure Access Code (SAC) to the email, phone, or text on file. That way the account cannot be accessed without validation.
In the phishing email, when you hover over the link to ‘Click here for details’, you’ll see that that link does not take you to Stanford FCU, but rather it will take you to the phishing site:
If you have any questions about your account, please contact us at 888.723.7328 or send us a secure message through Online Banking.
