smiling man typing on phoneWe regularly survey members to learn more about how we can help you DO MORE and BANK LESS. Here are some recent changes based on member feedback:

  • Lower Credit Card Rates: We lowered the interest rate on our Stanford Alumni Rewards Credit Card and Stanford Athletics® Fan Rewards Credit Card by a full 1%! This positive change is just another example of how we give back to our members and increase the value of your Stanford FCU membership!
  • Improved Money Market Account and Certificates: Any MMA account with a balance of $2,500 and over can earn our best rate of 0.853% APY. Our Certificate rates beat the banks with rates as high as 2.529% APY for a 12-month Certificate.
  • New Mortgage Application: Our new and enhanced mortgage application autosaves your information as you go and imports income and asset information directly into your application for less paperwork. Your data is also protected with industry-standard encryption.
  • Enhanced Search on sfcu.org: We made it easier to get the answers you need, whenever you need them! Simply ask a question in our website’s updated search bar on the upper right corner of this page. Find answers to hundreds of support and product questions!
  • Interactive Financial Education Resources: Learn at your own pace with our new interactive learning modules, which cover topics like Home Loans, Money 101, and Financial Security. As you complete the modules, your progress will be tracked in each playlist. Financial education is an important part of our mission to improve our members’ financial lives!

Enhancements to Mobile and Online Banking: 

  • Track & Pay Bills: We’re offering a simpler new way to pay your bills! Unlike traditional bill pay that mails a paper check or sends the payment via electronic transfer, Track & Pay Bills logs directly into your payee’s online portal to pay the bill there. Easily make payments using your Stanford FCU savings, checking or credit card.
  • Reorganized Menu: We’ve added Card Management as a new menu item in Online and Mobile Banking, so it’s now more convenient to find and access the following features in one place: Credit Card Rewards, Submit Travel Notice, Dispute Card Transaction, CardSwap, and Transfer Balance.
  • Loan Application Updates: To improve the loan application experience, we’ve streamlined menu links, implemented an incomplete loan app reminder, and will auto-populate employment information if you submitted a previous application less than six months ago.

What’s coming

  • Apple Watch app: Keep tabs on your finances with a glance at your watch. Check your balance and 10 most recent transactions for each Stanford FCU account on your Apple Watch.

Enhancements to Mobile and Online Banking: 

  • Refer A Friend Program: When your friend becomes a new Stanford FCU member using your promo code and opens one qualifying account, we’ll deposit $25 in each of your accounts!
  • Improved wire experience: Submitting domestic and international wires will be easier and more intuitive than ever with our new redesign!
  • Auto-pay option for all loans: Save time by setting up your monthly loan payments in Mobile and Online Banking. Once you schedule the auto payments, you won’t have to think about it again!
