Free Annual Credit Reports
Recently, the three nationwide consumer reporting companies – Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion – began processing consumers’ requests for free annual credit reports at www.annualcreditreport.com or by calling 877-322-8228.
The Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act of 2003 (FACTA) amends the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and requires the nationwide credit bureaus to provide consumers, upon request, a free copy of their credit report once every 12 months. The Federal Trade Commission enforces the FCRA with respect to consumer reporting companies. For more information go to www.ftc.gov.

Go to www.annualcreditreport.com or you can print the Annual Credit Report Request Form (PDF) and mail your request to: Annual Credit Report Request Service, P. O. Box 105281, Atlanta, GA 30348-5281.
