Web service needs to be established first with your carrier. Once you are connected to the "wireless web" you will need to type in "sfcu.org" to connect to the Stanford FCU wireless menu. Note: Once you have connected, we recommend that you bookmark the site so you won't have to continually type in the address, which can be time-consuming on a phone keypad. Once connected to the Credit Union's wireless site, you will see a few options. CU Mobile Banking is the link to your account. Select it. You will be prompted to enter your member number and then your CUOnline password. Once you've entered that information, you will be connected to our online banking system.

If you have a web-enabled phone (sometimes called a WAP Phone), you can use your member number and CUOnline password to access your SFCU account information. If you don't have CUOnline access, please email us at info@sfcu.org or phone us at (650) 723-2509 or toll-free at (888) 723-7328, and we will help you get set up!

Currently, you can view your account balances, verify deposits and withdrawals, and view your account history 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - all using a web-enabled wireless device.

No. This wireless banking service is free from SFCU, though your wireless carrier may charge your mobile phone account for the web access.
What devices work with CU Mobile Banking? Return to Top
The CU Mobile Banking service was designed to work with web-enabled phones. There are wireless emulation programs for the Palm Digital Assistants (PDA) that should work as well.

All communication made to and from the SFCU wireless service is strongly encrypted. Transmissions to and from our servers to your wireless service provider use SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). The transmission from your provider to you is also encrypted to ensure your privacy using Wireless Transport Layer Security.
Why can't I connect to the wireless web via my wireless phone? Return to Top

Have you subscribed to a wireless web plan? If you don't know, check with your provider. Most providers segregate their phone service from their wireless service, charging a few dollars extra each month.

Some regions don't have wireless coverage or have limited channels for wireless connection. In these circumstances, you should wait awhile and try again. If you're in a very remote area, you might have to wait until you travel to another location to connect.
