A New Account Representative will greet you at any of our Locations who will make opening an SFCU account an easy, pleasant experience.

To open an account at a branch location, you must bring:

1. A copy of an unexpired Gov't issued ID with a picture, such as a Driver's License or passport and a copy of second piece of ID, such insurance card, Costco or Sam's Club card, utility bill with your name or home address.
    
2. Cash or a check, payable to Stanford Federal Credit Union, in the amount of at least $55. This includes a one-time $5 membership fee, plus $50 as a minimum balance requirement. The fifty dollars will be deposited to your Membership Account. Please include an additional $50 ($105 total) if you are opening both a savings and a checking account. The additional fifty dollars will be deposited into your checking account.
