You can give one of our Member Service Representatives a call at (650) 723-2509 or toll-free at (888) 723-7328 outside the 650 area code. The Member Service Representative will mail everything you need to open an SFCU Account, even a postage-paid envelope.

To join by mail, you must:

1. Enclose a copy of an unexpired Gov't issued ID with a picture, such as a Driver's License or passport and a copy of second piece of ID, such insurance card, Costco or Sam's club card, Utility Bill with your name or home address.
   
   
2. Enclose a check in the amount of at least $55 payable to Stanford Federal Credit Union. This includes a one-time $5 membership fee, plus $50 as a minimum balance requirement. The fifty dollars will be deposited to your Membership Account. Please include an additional $50 ($105 total) if you are opening both a savings and a checking account. The additional fifty dollars will be deposited into your checking account.
