Domestic and International Wire Transfers

Receiving Funds

Stanford FCU does not charge a fee for receiving funds from another financial institution. To receive a wire transfer, please provide the sender/payor the following instructions:

Note: The account number provided must match the member name.

 

Sending Funds

SFCU can wire funds to institutions that are capable of receiving the wired funds. The fee for an outgoing domestic wire is $20. The fee for an International wire is $37 plus an additional sum charged by the corresponding bank.


International Transfers

SFCU does not have a foreign bank account. Therefore, we do not have a SWIFT or IBAN code.

  • For incoming wire transfers, the foreign bank will determine their correspondent bank in the United States. Once the funds are forwarded to the U.S. bank, funds will then be forwarded to SFCU.  There may by U.S. Correspondent Bank fees assessed.
  • For outgoing wire transfers, the U.S. Correspondent Bank is required.  This will ensure your wire is routed properly.
